Windows 11 23H2 hits end of servicing for its last editions on 10 November

A quiet night with one backfill. Added: Windows 11 version 23H2 reaches end of servicing on 10 November 2026 for the Enterprise, Education and IoT Enterprise editions — the Home and Pro editions ended a year ago, so this closes out serviced 23H2. Nothing new entered or changed from the monitored feeds otherwise; two imminent Azure retirements were re-verified against Microsoft's release-communications API and both dates hold. Plus the busy stretch still on the board.

A quiet night. Nothing new surfaced from the monitored feeds and no recorded date moved, so tonight is one backfill from the upcoming board plus a re-verification check.

Added: Windows 11 version 23H2 end of servicing (Enterprise, Education, IoT Enterprise)

Windows 11 version 23H2 reaches end of servicing on 10 November 2026 for the editions still receiving updates: Enterprise, Education and IoT Enterprise. Microsoft’s Windows release-health table lists the 23H2 General Availability Channel (OS build 22631) with an “End of updates” date of 2026-11-10 for those editions. After that date a device left on 23H2 keeps running but gets no further monthly quality or security updates. The Home and Pro editions of 23H2 already ended a year earlier, in November 2025, so this date closes out the last serviced 23H2 editions. The fix is to move to a serviced feature update: 25H2 (an enablement-package restart on 23H2/24H2 machines) or 24H2, whose Enterprise and Education editions are serviced to 12 October 2027. This sits alongside the 24H2 Home and Pro end of servicing already on the calendar.

Re-verified, no change

Two imminent Azure retirements were due for their under-30-day re-check. Both were confirmed against Microsoft’s release-communications API and the dates hold: Azure Databricks Runtime 10.4 LTS reaches end of life on 1 November 2026, and Azure Functions support for PowerShell 7.4 ends on 10 November 2026. (Both notices live on JavaScript-rendered Azure Updates pages that our automated re-check can’t read directly, so they get verified by hand against the API each time they come due.)

The next few weeks on the board

Dates ahead, each verified against its primary source: Windows 11 24H2 end of servicing and Reddit RSS feeds ending (both 13 Oct), Microsoft Sentinel containerized SAP connector images removed (14 Oct), Cloudflare Workers KV legacy API (15 Oct), OpenSSL 3.4 end of life and Minimus shutdown (both 22 Oct), OpenAI GPT-4 / GPT-3.5 / o1 / o3 model removals (23 Oct), Kubernetes 1.34 end of life (27 Oct), Fitbit’s legacy Web API turned off (30 Oct), and OpenAI’s hosted Evals platform going read-only (31 Oct). Full board with live countdowns on the calendar.
