Resend closes new.email — export your templates by 7 August

One new item tonight: Resend is shutting down new.email, its standalone AI email-template tool, on 7 August 2026 — the last day to export your templates before the platform stops accepting prompts and sends. The AI features live on inside Resend's main editor. The monitored feeds were otherwise quiet, and nothing on the calendar changed against its primary source.

Resend new.email (source) — Resend is closing new.email, its standalone tool that generated email templates from natural-language prompts. The site stays available for template export until 7 August 2026; after that it stops accepting new prompts and sends. This is a product closing rather than a capability leaving — the AI-template features move into Resend’s main email editor (brand extraction, block rewriting, MCP-based generation). The one thing with a hard deadline is your data: export any templates you want to keep before 7 August, since access ends on the date.
