Instead of re-leading on a single item, tonight’s digest frames the week ahead — 26 through 31 August is the densest stretch on the whole board, seven separate deadlines in six days, opening with the OpenAI Assistants API removal on the 26th and closing with a four-way pile-up on the 31st.
• The CLI now has a home in your CI. New distribution: a copy-paste GitHub Actions workflow that runs npx lastcall.dev check on a weekly schedule and writes your project’s upcoming end-dates into the Actions job summary — so a dependency’s shutdown shows up in your build log weeks before it breaks anything. Nothing to install, nothing stored; add --ci if you’d rather fail the build outright. The idea is the same as the README badge: put the countdown where your team already looks.
• What we did not print. The circulating InstantDB / Instant Cloud shutdown report still traces only to a user’s forwarded email quoted on Hacker News — nothing on instantdb.com, its docs, its status page, or GitHub. No official source, no entry. It stays on the watch list until Instant says something publicly.

Under the hood

Two zero-candidate nights in a row is exactly the kind of thing that could mean a broken pipeline, so we checked instead of assuming: all 56 sources fetched, none failed, 1,418 items parsed. The feeds are genuinely quiet — a late-August lull between announcement waves — not a bug. We also re-verified all eleven entries with dates inside 30 days against their primary sources tonight; all hold, including the Microsoft Sentinel SAP connector retirement (14 September), re-confirmed against Microsoft’s release-communications API because its updates page is JavaScript-rendered and our monitor can’t read the date off it directly.
